This easy Air Fryer Chocolate Croissants recipe makes flaky filled pastries so good, you will think you are eating in a French bakery!
EQUIPMENT
- 1 Air Fryer
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can Crescent Roll Dough
- 8 mini Chocolate Bars or ½ cup chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
Unroll the crescent roll sheet and then dividing into triangles.
Place one piece of chocolate, or one tablespoon of chocolate chip, at the end of the crescent roll and roll until into a crescent shape.
Spray the air fryer basket or baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray or line basket with parchment paper. Place croissants in the prepared basket, leaving a small space between each pastry.
Air fry at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5-7 minutes until crescent rolls are golden brown.
Carefully remove filled chocolate crescent rolls from the Air Fryer. Sprinkle each puff pastry with powdered sugar, slices of almonds, drizzle with chocolate syrup or frosting glaze.
NOTES
- I make these in my Cosori 5.8 Air Fryer Model. Depending on the size and wattage of the Air Fryer, you may need to add an additional 1-2 minutes to cook time.
- Leave enough room between each pastry, allowing room for the roll to puff as it cooks.
- Do not stack or overlap in the basket. The dough may not cook evenly.
- You can make 4 or 8 in a batch, depending on what will fit in your basket.
