Air Fryer Baked Potatoes

Crispy outside and soft inside, these air fryer baked potatoes are a quick and easy side or main dish.

 Ingredients:

  • 2–4 medium Russet potatoes

  • 1–2 teaspoons olive oil

  • Salt (to taste)

Optional toppings:

  • Butter

  • Sour cream

  • Shredded cheese

  • Chopped green onions

  • Bacon bits


 Instructions:

  1. Wash and Dry the Potatoes
    Scrub the potatoes clean under running water. Dry them completely using a kitchen towel.

  2. Oil and Salt the Potatoes
    Rub each potato with olive oil. Sprinkle salt all over. This makes the skin crispy after air frying.

  3. Air Fry the Potatoes
    Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket.
    Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 35–45 minutes.
    Flip them halfway through cooking.
    To check if they’re done, poke with a fork or knife—if it slides in easily, they’re ready.

  4. Serve Hot with Toppings
    Let them cool for a minute or two.
    Cut a slit on top, press the ends to open, and add your favorite toppings like butter, cheese, or sour cream.


 Tips & Tricks:

  • Use Russet potatoes for the best texture—they have fluffy insides and crispy skin.

  • Cooking time may vary depending on potato size—larger ones may take closer to 45 minutes.

  • Don’t wrap them in foil if you want crispy skin.

Ingredients:

  • 2–4 medium Russet potatoes

  • 1–2 tsp olive oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, cheese, green onions, bacon


Instructions:

  1. Wash and dry potatoes well.

  2. Rub with oil and sprinkle with salt.

  3. Place in air fryer basket at 400°F (200°C).

  4. Cook for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway.

  5. Check doneness with a fork. Cut open and add toppings.


 Notes:

  • For best results, don’t skip the oil—it helps crisp up the skin.

  • Want it loaded? Add cheese, sour cream, and green onions for a full meal.
