Ingedients:
– Your favorite pancake mix
– Sausage patties (I used maple sausage)
– Maple syrup
– Eggs (I used liquid eggs)
– American cheese (can substitute if your not a fan)
Instructions:
– Oil griddle and cook sausage on low/medium low.
– Use press to get patties to around 4” in diameter. They will shrink as they cook.
– After you flip, start the pancakes. Cook on low. Drizzle maple syrup onto the raw side of the pancakes. Keep it around the middle so it doesn’t run out of the pancake and onto the griddle.
– When sausage and pancakes are done, move them to the opposite side of the griddle with the heat off. This will keep them warm without cooking them any further.
– Cook the eggs. I like to simulate the McDonald eggs so I use liquid eggs and fold them over as they cook. I portion them into as many sandwiches as I need.
– Turn off all the burners.
– Assemble the McGriddle. Pancake, sausage, egg and slice of cheese.
– Use a dome to melt the cheese quicker. 30 seconds to a minute.
– Top with second pancake and ENJOY!!!
