Delicious crispy chicken wings dry rub done in air fryer is a wonderful appetizer.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. chicken wings or 500 gm.
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. chili powder
- ¾ tsp. Italian seasoning
INSTRUCTIONS

Wash and pat dry your chicken wings.

Mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and Italian seasoning.

Toss the wings with the spice mix. Make sure that the dry rub gets on all the wings. There is no need to use any oil.
For Air frying

Pre-heat the Air fryer at 390 C or 200 C for about 4 minutes.

Arrange chicken wings on the basket in one layer. Air fry for about 16-20 minutes till crispy and well cooked.

You can flip the wings midway during air frying.

You will see chicken fat starts rendering and the skin crisps up well and good.

Unless your wings are very meaty you will not need more air frying time.
For Baking

Preheat the oven to 400 F for 15 minutes.
Arrange wings on the rack so that they are not touching. Bake for 45 minutes till crispy and done.
NOTES
The wings may look slightly dry but are very crispy outside and succulent inside. 2. You can vary the seasonings as per taste. You can also use ready seasoning mixes like Cajun spice, Old Bay seasoning etc. 3. You can use parchment paper to line air fryer basket for easier clean up. 4. Serve hot with ranch, Chipotle mayo, honey mustard or any dip of your choice. 5. You can make these from frozen. First suitably thaw the wings in the air fryer. Toss with the dry rub and then air fry.
