Air Fryer Pasta Chips

This recipe works with most pasta shapes, but rigatoni, bow ties (farfalle), penne, or rotini are the most popular because they get extra crispy. With just a handful of ingredients, you’ll have a crunchy snack that everyone will love, whether for movie night, game day, or just when you’re craving something savory.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pasta (rigatoni, bow tie, penne, or rotini)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  2. Place pasta in a mixing bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  4. Spread pasta evenly in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until pasta is golden and crispy.
  6. Remove and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
  7. Serve warm with marinara, ranch, or your favorite dip.

Tips & Tricks

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if needed for best crispiness.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy version.
  • Try different dips like garlic aioli, hummus, or salsa.
  • Use gluten-free pasta if you want a gluten-free snack.
