Air Fryer Bacon and Egg on Toast

If you love a classic breakfast, bacon and eggs on toast is a favorite. Making it in the air fryer is fast, simple, and less messy than using a frying pan. The bread gets golden and crispy, the bacon cooks evenly, and the egg sits right on top for a filling and tasty meal.

This recipe needs only a few ingredients: bread, bacon, eggs, and a little seasoning. You can keep it simple or make it extra special by adding cheese, avocado, or herbs. It’s great for breakfast, brunch, or even a quick snack.


Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon butter (softened)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

(Optional: cheese slices, avocado, or herbs for topping)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place a slice of bacon on each bread slice.
  4. Press the middle of the bread down gently with a spoon to make space for the egg.
  5. Crack one egg over the bacon on each bread slice.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Place the bread slices in the air fryer basket carefully.
  8. Cook for 8–10 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the egg is cooked to your liking.
  9. Remove gently with a spatula and serve hot.

Tips & Tricks

  • Add shredded cheese on top before cooking for a cheesy version.
  • Use turkey bacon for a lighter option.
  • For runny yolks, check after 7 minutes; for firm yolks, leave in longer.
  • Try serving with sliced avocado or fresh herbs for extra flavor.
