Ingredients
- 4 6– ounce fresh salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons sugar-free maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon stone ground dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
Instructions
-
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 7 minutes, while you prepare the salmon.
-
Dry the salmon on all sides using paper towels and set aside.
-
Add the dijon mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic salt and pepper to a small bowl. Whisk until well combined.
-
Spoon the mixture over each piece of salmon and spread evenly on the top and sides. I brush only olive oil on the bottom, to help prevent sticking to the rack and keep the salmon moist.
-
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through or reaches an internal temperature of at least 125°F, when check with an instant read thermometer. Mine took exactly 9 minutes.
Notes
If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake the salmon in the oven instead:
Preheat your oven to 425°F, mix the glaze ingredients together, spread evenly over the salmon, place the salmon on a baking rack over a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
